The Nursery

The nursery is complete!

Karl and Grandpa Pete put in new flooring and a ceiling fan. The furniture is in place, bedding washed and clothes put in drawers. Now we need Miss Haley to show 11 weeks (no early bird baby please). We went with an animal theme, in an effort to avoid too much pink. We felt it would be pink overload if her room was Pepto colored. Her bookshelf is starting to fill up with my childhood favorites - if she's anything like her mom, she'll be an avid reader.

The Crib/Bedding

The Reading Corner

The cushions for the glider are a work in progress, the fabric is too cute! For some reason everyone thinks that the books I've picked out are too advanced for a baby. You mean she won't be reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn at a few months old?

The Artwork

The giraffee print hung in baby Karl's room, it was a gift from Nancy's former co-workers in Buffalo, NY.

The Roaming Gnome
No baby's room is complete without one.
